Another horrifying image from the shoot…
Over a year and a half ago I gathered a group of friends to make a film/projection that would accompany my artwork and drone project.
I put the project down and never managed to get a hold of decent video editing software and found it hard gathering people together who would be up for taking part in it.
I plan to pick this project up again pretty soon and would like to know if anyone would be available maybe later in the year, around autumn time perhaps, that could help me out.
This is a photograph from the shoot at Ury house which I fear may not be accessible for much longer, featuring Nathan Young dressed like a fucking nightmare in autumn/winter 2011.
PULL THE VEINS OUT LIKE WEEDS
Myself and a fellow artist, Hannah Harkes, have decided to create some work together for a future exhibition, dealing with themes of a grotesque and sexually perverse and humorous nature.
We don’t have a tumblr page but we do have a blogspot if you would like to check it out.
The more recent images are of quick sketches I made in the pub which Hannah then went on to work into. I think they turned out quite interesting.
This project will be a slow burner but when we have enough work, we’ll release some more information on it I’m sure.

Me and my pal Seonaidh went up the Blairs College on saturday to take some snaps. It’s a partially used estate that houses a beautiful chapel, some looming sinister derelict buildings that are a little worse for wear and some nice gardens outside the back of the building. The whole place gave a real feeling of the hotel from ‘The Shining’.
It was used as a seminary to train boys to become monks but has been closed for over 10 - 15 years or so (I think).
We got some good snaps =)
